At SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas, Hideo Kojima and his team at Kojima Productions will be showcasing Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. This was confirmed during an announcement on a Tuesday afternoon. Collaborating with PlayStation, Kojima Productions has planned a special panel for Death Stranding 2 at the yearly event.

Prior to SXSW 2025, PlayStation is set to hold its inaugural State of Play event for the year on Wednesday, February 12. It’s speculated, though not yet confirmed, that Death Stranding 2 might be featured at this presentation in some capacity.
At this moment, we don’t have a specific day set for the game’s launch yet. However, it’s anticipated that it will be out towards the end of 2025.
